What you are quoted is what you pay

Two numbers, shown before you confirm: the exchange rate applied and our fee. Nothing is deducted after that, and nothing is hidden inside a poor rate.

How the price is built

  • Our fee. A single transfer fee of 3% of the amount sent, shown in full on the quote. No sign-up fee, no monthly fee, no receiving fee from us.
  • The exchange rate. Shown on the quote before you pay. The rate you see at checkout is the rate applied to the whole transfer, including the portion that settles later.
  • Gift card bonus. If your recipient takes gift cards, they receive extra value on the converted amount. That is added on their side, at no cost to you.

What we never charge

  • No fee to open an account or hold a wallet balance
  • No deduction from the received amount on our side
  • No fee for the recipient to convert to gift cards or a prepaid Visa

Third parties outside our control, such as the recipient's own bank or a local ATM operator, may apply their own charges. We flag known ones on the quote where we can.

For context. The global average cost of sending money abroad is about 6.4% of the amount sent, per the World Bank's remittance price monitor. Banks average higher still.
